Devil's Slide Tunnel Project
The State of California, Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is constructing a major public improvement project known as the Devil’s Slide Tunnel Project that involves the construction of a new roadway to replace the existing California Highway Route 1 between the City of Pacifica and Montara. Caltrans has requested that the District provide water service to the Project. In order to provide water service to the Project, the District will need to construct, maintain, and operate new water pipelines.
