Free Conservation Devices
The District has created an effective water conservation program to help our customers save money and reduce water usage. Please visit the Headquarters office at 2400 Francisco Blvd. to receive your free water conservation tools.

Allows only 1.0 GPM (gallons per minute) to flow through your faucet. The average bathroom faucet without a low-flow aerator uses 2-3 GPM. Device is threaded for easy installation onto the end of your faucet.

Allows only 1.5 GPM to flow through your faucet. The average kitchen faucet without a low-flow aerator uses 3-6 GPM. Device is threaded for easy installation onto the end of your faucet.

This low-flow showerhead allows only 1.5 GPM to flow through your shower. The “soap & soak” feature allows you to stop the flow of water without turning the water off. The average non low-flow showerhead uses 5-7 GPM. Device is threaded for easy replacement.

This device adheres to the shower wall with the enclosed suction cup. Just press start when you get in the shower and do your best to stay within the 5-minute limit.

Use tablets to check for a leaky toilet. A silent toilet leak is a common culprit for leaks and sudden spikes in water usage. Instructions are on the package.

Always use a nozzle with an automatic shut-off capability. Water won't escape unless you place firmly squeeze the trigger.

This 1.75 gallon bucket is perfect for reusing water that would otherwise be wasted indoors. Use it to catch cold water in the shower, or to catch water used for rinsing fruits and vegetables, and then use that water to irrigate plants.
