Terms and Conditions

Open to both residential and commercial customers
Garden must be installed at least one month prior to entry
Previous garden contest winners are not eligible to enter
Employees and/or family of employees are not eligible to participate or win
Entry images will become the property of the North Coast County Water District and may be used for future marketing activities.

Entries must demonstrate and will be judged upon:

Attractive use of water wise landscaping
Water use efficiency
Good maintenance practices

Winner Selection:

The three gardens with the most votes on the NCCWD website by the deadline on November 7th will be selected as finalists. An additional two gardens will be chosen as finalists by the District, for a total of five finalists. All five finalists will be evaluated by a panel of independent landscape professionals and the top three gardens will be recognized/awarded at a Board of Directors meeting.

Prizes:

Prizes include a 50-gallon Ivy Rain Barrel, gift cards from garden centers, and more!
